Wen's Cafe began with two arguments that never got resolved: whether the best part of the morning is the first cup of coffee or the first slice of warm bread. Rather than settle it, we built a cafe with room for both.
We opened our doors in Pitampura with a simple brief — a continental kitchen that cooks unhurried food, and a bakery that never cuts corners on time. Everything on our counter is still made the same way it was on day one: from scratch, in small batches, by hand.
Today, Wen's Cafe is where the neighbourhood comes to linger — over a long breakfast, a fresh loaf to take home, or a slice of cake with no particular occasion attached.
Bread, cakes, sauces, and stocks are made in-house every day. If we can bake it or cook it ourselves, we do.
We buy close to what we need for the day — fresher produce, less waste, and flavour that doesn't need dressing up.
Dough proofs for days, not hours. Stocks simmer overnight. We'd rather things be right than fast.

That's the standard we hold the kitchen to — every plate, every loaf, every cup should be a reason to stay a little longer. It's a simple idea, and it's the only one we've needed.
