Wen's Cafe is a new specialty coffee brand built around a hand-pour bar and a menu we've spent two years getting right. We're opening our first franchise territories and looking for founding partners to build it with us.
Every system we're handing you — the recipes, the build spec, the training — was written by people who've worked a bar shift, tested on our own pilot counter before it ever became a franchise plan.
Beans come from direct-trade relationships we've built over two years of piloting, roasted in small batches so every location, cart to flagship, pours the same cup from day one.
Your space will feel like Wen's without feeling like a franchise. We hand over a kit of materials and finishes, not a laminated binder of things you can't change.
Three formats, sized to fit a transit kiosk or a destination flagship. Every tier includes the same recipes, sourcing, and training — just a different footprint.
Most operators move through these six steps in four to seven months, depending on format and site readiness.
A 30-minute conversation about your background, target market, and which format fits. No commitment either direction.
Week 1Spend a day in a working location — behind the bar, in the roastery, with our ops team — before either of us signs anything.
Week 2–3We review the Franchise Disclosure Document together and finalize territory and format.
Week 4–6Our real estate and design teams work alongside you, from lease review to final walkthrough.
Month 2–4Six weeks covering bar craft, roastery basics, hiring, and the systems that keep a shift running.
Month 4–5A regional trainer is on-site for your first two weeks of service.
Month 5–7| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Initial franchise fee | ₹1 Lakh |
| Total initial investment | ₹10 Lakh – ₹35 Lakh |
| Ongoing royalty | 6% of monthly revenue |
| Marketing fund contribution | 2% of monthly revenue |
| Projected payback period | 2.5 – 3 years |
| Agreement term | 5 years, renewable |
As a newly launching brand, figures above are projections based on our pilot counter and market research, not results from existing franchisees — since none yet exist. A detailed financial model is shared with qualified candidates after a discovery call, and final terms are set out in the franchise agreement.
"We built the first Wen's counter to prove a cup, not a business plan. Now we're opening it up to a handful of founding partners who want to build this city by city with us, not just buy into it." — Founding team, Wen's Cafe
The full packaging system ships with every location: pour-over bottles, iced cups, bakery boxes, kraft bags, and labels — so a founding partner's shelf looks like ours from opening day, no separate design work required.
Gable gift boxes, glass cold-coffee bottles, iced cup sleeves, and single-serve pour-over sachets.
Window boxes for cookies and cupcakes, kraft totes, and takeaway coffee cups in the bakery colorway.
Bread crates, muffin wraps, brownie sleeves, and cookie tins, all carrying the same wordmark and leaf motif.
A member of our franchise development team replies within two business days with next steps and, if it's a fit, a discovery call on the calendar.
